The Climate Farm Demo project is a pan-European initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of Climate Smart Farming (CSF) practices. Spanning 28 countries, it connects 1,500 pilot demonstration farms, facilitating peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange. Through 4,500 demo events, both in-person and virtual, farmers are introduced to innovative solutions that enhance resilience to climate change and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
Central to the project’s success is its multi-actor approach, involving farmers, climate advisors, and researchers. This collaborative model fosters the co-creation of new CSF solutions within 10 Living Labs across Europe. By integrating technical and social innovations, the project not only supports the implementation of adaptation and mitigation strategies but also contributes to achieving a carbon-neutral agricultural sector by 2050.
