The Climate Smart Advisors project is a pan-European initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of climate-smart farming practices across Europe. Spanning 27 EU countries, the project brings together a network of 1,500 advisors, 140 coaches, 27 national coordinators, and 12 thematic leaders. This collaborative effort focuses on strengthening the capacity of agricultural advisors to provide targeted climate-smart advice, thereby enhancing the resilience and sustainability of European agriculture.
Central to the CSA project is the establishment of 260 Communities of Practice (CoPs) across Europe, facilitating peer-to-peer learning and knowledge exchange among advisors. These CoPs serve as platforms for the co-creation of innovative solutions and the dissemination of best practices in climate-smart agriculture. Additionally, the project is developing a comprehensive knowledge repository, enriched with tools, practices, and approaches from various sister projects, to support advisors in their mission to transition EU agriculture towards more adaptable and environmentally friendly practices.
