ILVO is an independent scientific research institute of Flanders’ Government. ILVO’s task is to generate knowledge for more sustainability in the agriculture, fisheries and agri-food sectors. ILVO’s work is strongly anchored in Flanders and from there extends across Belgium, Europe and the rest of the world. ILVO is coordinator of MARVIC, a Soil Mission project that aims to develop a framework for the design of robust context-specific MRV systems for carbon farming across Europe.
